haikou.jp lists closed schools, akiya (vacant houses) and unused public buildings across Japan with an estimate of the total cost: acquisition, infrastructure and building recovery, and renovation for each use.

• Listings: about 460 closed schools and public buildings, and 1,000+ akiya (updated weekly from municipal akiya banks)
• Each listing shows cost estimates, subsidies that may apply and nearby past sales
• We receive inquiries from people who want help with renovation, quotes, or buying or renting a property

1. Partners (referrals)

We forward inquiries to partners that match the area and the type of request.
